Your final chance to get your knives sharpened in Edmonton in 2026

Hi ,

These are my final sharpening dates for 2026 in Edmonton. If you'd like your knives sharp before Christmas, this is the time to book. If you miss these dates, my next sharpening visits in Edmonton won't be until March 2027.

That means after this round, I can't get to anyone's knives in Edmonton again until March.

3.

Be home with your knives

Be home with your knives at your booked time so I can look over everything with you properly.

I always aim to arrive within 15 minutes of your booked time. My days are full and travel times can swing, so if I'm running much earlier or later, I'll let you know.

Before you book: are you within my Edmonton route?

Before you book: are you within my Edmonton route?

I'm in and out of homes all day, so I keep each day's route tight. If you're more than about a 15-minute drive from Edmonton, please don't book yet. Message or call me first to confirm it's okay to book, and if needed, I'll do my best to find another time or day that works for you.

A few ground rules (they help me give you better service)

Ground rules

Nothing complicated here, just a few simple expectations so the day runs smoothly and your knives get the attention they need.

✓The owner must be there

It's company policy, and it also lets me look at your knives with you, explain what I'm doing, and show you how to care for them and use them efficiently. Family and friends are welcome to join you, but anyone who wants their knives sharpened needs to be there with their own knives. Knives can't be dropped off to be sharpened. If you can't be home with your knives at the booked time, please don't leave them with your kids or anyone else, and don't book that time. Reach out and we'll find something that works. If friends or family can't be there at your time, they're welcome to book their own appointment at a time that suits them. Just send them the link.

✓Please don't collect knives from your neighbours or family

I know it's a kind gesture, but each owner needs to be there so I can look at their knives properly, teach them about their pieces and address them one on one. Even if you bought the knives as a gift for someone, I understand you technically paid for them, but the person who owns and uses them now needs to be there with the knives. If the owner isn't there, I simply can't sharpen them.

✓Please don't leave your knives out

Please don't leave your knives out on the front step. This has actually happened, in full view, and if I hadn't shown up when I did, someone could have walked off with them. Please don't leave them in the garage with a note saying "let yourself in" either. I should be the only stranger near your knives! If anything goes missing, I'm liable, and I can't give you proper service that way.

✓If the times don't work, just ask

I'd rather find an option that works than have your knives go unsharpened.

Good to know

Your warranty covers sending your knives to the factory as often as you like. A visit from me is a service I offer on top of that. It isn't part of the warranty and I'm not required to do it, so every visit is a courtesy. Thanks for helping me keep it running smoothly by respecting the booking details.

Think of me like an oil change and tune-up for your knives. I'm not just running a quick touch-up; I'm doing real work on them so they cut properly again. Sometimes a knife is past what I can get really sharp on the spot, and it needs to go to the factory instead. That's where it goes through the multimillion-dollar machines and gets overhauled back to like-new sharpness. If they can't get it sharp or working like new, they'll replace it for free. I can't always tell until I see it, and I'll always be honest about what I find. If something needs to go in, I'll show you why, help with the paperwork and packing, and you only pay round-trip shipping. I always keep your knives going at home as long as I can.

While I'm there

I'll go over all your pieces to make sure you're getting the most out of them, and if there's something you're not sure how to use, I'll show you.

I'll also have all my samples with me. If you see something you like for yourself or you're thinking about gifts, business gifts included, great. No pressure, it's just a chance to see things in person and ask questions. Fair warning: everybody finds something they love. These are a mild addiction, and you can never have too many!

You're welcome to shop and place your orders while I'm there, too. And as always, I'll check to make sure you get the best deals on whatever you're looking for.
